So now that Ark has the play anywhere feature, if you own it on xbox you can download it from the windows store for free and play with xbox users on xbox servers. I know that the cheats work for the Steam version, but would they work on the windows store version that allows you to crossplay with xbox users?

Unfortunately we only support the Steam version of the game. The cheat will not work for the windows store version.
