With 88% of companies reported, S&P 500 earnings are on pace to hit a record high for the 3rd straight quarter. GAAP earnings increased 52% year-over-year while Operating earnings increased 37%. $SPX The Fed added $1.3 trillion to its balance sheet this year and held rates @ 0% while inflation has risen to a 31-year high (6.2% YoY). Fed's dual mandate (price stability) has been completely ignored, and they've lost all remaining credibility as inflation fighters.
