In this case i rather not risk it ... because i dont want to get banned just for testing if it`s working or not.

It should be the same version of the game as steam so it should work. It just hasn't been tested because downloading supported games on every platform would take way to much space. Either it works or it doesn't and we can add support, either way testing isn't going to get you banned the cheat is undetected.
