Quick Question about VAC Secured Games

If I were to want to go full blatant and rage on VAC secured games, would it be better advised I just create a new steam account? Or would It to be fine to just hack on my regular steam account. I ask because I heard VAC will ban you from all VAC secured games if you are caught and I didn't know how true this is. It's a tad worrisome since my steam account owns 80+ games.

It's recommended to create a new Steam account and cheat on the new one instead of your original one.
