Banned because od mod?

I'm writing right here on this forum because i saw a lot useful thing right here, i am here also because of my problem, i download marvel future fight game for my pc ( modded version ) because i don't like playnig games on my phone but i'm like this game. And my problem is: I got banned from the game i've been using this, and my quesiton is: is it possible to get banned? because i heard that it's safe...

its a modded client from the original client, So it is possible that thats is what got you banned.
