We will most likely not be making a cheat. It's hardly a shooter and the multiplayer aspect of the game is far and few between. You will rarely even run into other players. Directly from the devs: "No Man’s Sky’ Is Effectively A Single Player Experience"

Maybe down the road if they add true mutiplayer or something.
