This tutorial will show you how to use the overlays in videos rendered with Sony Vegas.

The first thing you will want to do is put the overlays at the very top of your project.

Now you will want to open up the overlay settings by clicking the green icon.

Next, select lighten, or whichever you choose, but lighten works the best in my opinion.

The next thing you will do is scale it to your video with the even pan/crop tool.

Once clicking that you will have a new window open. Extend the box out to shrink the overlay and position it where you want. Do this for each overlay you are using.

Now render it out and it will look something similar to this:
