There has been detections in the past; As of late there are only FairFight bans which is based off of the gameplay of the end user to cause that type of ban.

Fairfight Works on statistical information of how you play inside the game does not work like punk Buster. It has been many years since I've seen punk Buster do permanent banns in any battlefield game. However, you never know they could change tomorrow and start HWID banning everyone
