Star Wars battlefront instant kill

I know this is a very risky feature no matter what, now thats out of the way

my question is: Does it instant kill heroes, or even vehicles such as at-st?, or does it only apply to regular troops?

Hello sir, by "Instant Kill" I assume you are referring to the "1 Shot Kill" feature, currently it only works against infantry(including heroes) while on foot or inside of a vehicle, it doesn't work against vehicles.
