    Playing on VPN

    Hey,

So thought this would be the best place to post this.

I have a friend who is having to play via vpn, as he is on a schools network (as a house master). Some games (like dota 2) work just fine, but others ~ rocket league/bf1/ PUBG wont work. Thus the need for VPN.

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to get around this?

They use a program called Fortinet.

If it pertains to PUBG, no there is no way around it. But as for getting around it if you use a good VPN you maintain your speeds if not close to your speeds at a location that is local with a low ping.

Personally use Torguard. Got in during promotion at $9.99 every 3 months for life. Don't have any issues playing games.
